A Word About Forgiveness"
Some people have a very difficult time when it comes to forgiving those who either talk bad about them, abuse them in some way, criticize them, or are just plain old mean to them. There are also those who have a difficult time forgiving someone who lies on or to them or those who might cheat them in some way. How many times have you either seen or heard of people hurting someone over such things as these? And please, when it comes to someone being owed money, and the one who owes the money just ignores the one they owe, it is a good way to stir up anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness in a person. When you really give it some thought, a lot of this happened to The Lord JESUS CHRIST, and if He would have been like a whole lot of you, there would have been hell to pay for a lot of people but guess what, He is not like a lot of you at all, and most people realize how blessed they are because He is not like them or you.
Therefore children of Mine in CHRIST, what I would like for you to do is, to reflect upon how you handle those who might have wronged you in some way. Do you have trouble forgiving them, or do you even give it any thought at all? If and/or when you have trouble with forgiving someone, do you turn to The Lord JESUS for help? Even I realize just how difficult forgiving some people can be, and of course, it is not such an easy ordeal. The Lord JESUS is able to give you the strength needed to be the forgiver you should be because that is His nature. Those of you who look to The Lord JESUS for the strength you need will surely be seen and known as overcomers, and oh how blessed you will be when you are, in and through JESUS CHRIST your Lord and Savior.
