"Difficulty in Being CHRIST-like"
To live life as a true Christian and to be CHRIST-like, which is of course to be a learner and a follower of CHRIST, is not a very easy thing at all to do. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, your first inclination would not be to just turn the other cheek, and when you are in the flesh, that is understandable. When it comes to someone harming a loved one of yours, it is difficult to just let Me handle things I know, because I did say after all that vengeance is Mine rather than you seeking retribution on your own. It is difficult as well when The Lord JESUS has asked you to love your neighbor as yourself, which you find oh so difficult to do. Or when someone is out there telling lies on or about you, and it seems to happen on a fairly consistent basis, I realize that it could be difficult to just trust and allow Me to handle things in My own way and in My own time. When nothing will satisfy your desire to seek justice in the Spiritual realm, many will begin to seek it in the secular realm, and that is not always a sure nor the best thing either.
No, My children, it is not easy to live a true Christian life when there is so much out there in the world that can trip you up along the way. Much too often people allow themselves to get tripped up when they allow the flesh to overpower the Spirit. One has to be able to overlook quite a lot as far as the world is concerned, or else they will forever be surrendering to the weaknesses of the flesh, and they are many indeed. There is quite a lot that cannot be handled as a Christian when operating in the flesh, including such things as temptation. He or she who allows the flesh to rule their life, will very seldom ever see themselves being CHRIST-like, or living a CHRIST-like life. Seek ye as Philippians 4:8 says, that which is is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things, and blessed you will be for so doing, in JESUS' Most Precious and Holy Name.
