"You Do Not Have to Lie"
Most people will think that a little lying is okay if the purpose of the lie is to spare someone's feelings. It does often seem that, inevitably, the feelings of the person will last for only a given amount of time. Did you ever read of JESUS saying that it was okay to lie if you are trying to spare hurting someone's feelings? It seemed that no matter how unpopular a certain news might have been, JESUS did not direct anyone to lie about it to spare hurt feelings. As a matter of fact, is it not true that one of the things the Lord hates is a lying tongue, as it says in Proverbs 6:17? Some people love to say things like it is just a little white lie, but My friend, a lie is still a lie, no matter what color you might want to ascribe to it. It is not to say that you will not be forgiven for these types of lies, but why even put them on your record to begin with?
Therefore, children of The Living GOD, you do not always have to commit a sin just to spare someone's feelings. If you feel that you will have to tell a lie just to spare someone's feelings, then do not say anything at all. People will very often find themselves getting in trouble all because of trying to spare someone's feelings. I will very often feel sorry for some of you because of the way you tend to tie yourselves up in knots trying not to hurt someone's feelings. People just have to learn to grow up if the truth is what they truly want to know. Otherwise, such people should not expect you to lie. If lying is the only way to appease certain people, then try to avoid saying anything at all. If they are truly a child of Mine, they should be able to understand. As My Word says: be ye holy as I am holy, and be true in all you say and do, in JESUS' Most Precious and Holy Name.
