"Overcoming Sin"
It is indeed such a sad state of affairs, how often people love to make excuses for their sins, instead of wanting to end them. No matter how small or large one might believe their sin to be, sin is still sin in My Book. Sadly enough, a lot of people believe their sin is, in some weird way, justified. This even includes such sins as lying, cheating, murder, or any manner of sexual sin. It is sad indeed, but you will find people who will even celebrate their sin anyway they can. Sometimes, to some people, sin is explained as being necessary because they feel that it was something that needed to be done at the time. Sin is always pleasurable to most people, which is why they find it so difficult to let it go. As a matter of fact, if it were not pleasurable, it would not be so difficult to end, as most people have found it to do.
Listen, people, ever since the sins of Adam and Eve, things have never been the same on this earth and in the lives of mankind. Life took a definite turn for the worse, which caused people to do the least that they can do as far as seeking holiness and righteousness. Oh, I realize that some of you do try real hard to be holy and righteous, and I am very proud of your efforts. The reason why the sacrifice of JESUS CHRIST was so needed was that no matter what, sin was always a part of mankind's being. The shed blood of JESUS CHRIST covered that sinful nature that was in each of you. But if you are one who has yet to receive JESUS CHRIST as your Savior, then you are surely stuck in a pitiful situation. There is nothing worse than dying a sinner, because hell is not anywhere anyone would want to be. The problem is that many people think of hell as being a joke, and when they realize that is not true, it will be too late to turn around. Learn therefore to seek holiness and righteousness in JESUS' Name to cover your sins, and blessed you will surely be for so doing, in JESUS' Most Precious and Holy Name.
