"The Desire to Help Others"
As many of you have personally seen, there are people who seem to have no idea of how to find peace in their life, which can be a sad situation. Also, as many of you have seen, some of these people will often get upset at the least thing that goes awry in their life. There are times when there is a tendency that you might be affected by the other person's attitude. Such people are often reluctant to want to hear any advice from anyone, especially when they are frustrated about something. If you would take the time to notice, a lot of them are rarely ever in the frame of mind to listen to anything that has to do with Me or The Lord JESUS CHRIST. They do not care that there could be a better way of dealing with certain situations in their life. In most cases, their negative attitudes will end up driving away people who only want to help, which can be to their detriment.
It is therefore up to each of you to realize there are certain times when certain people cannot be helped, no matter how badly you might want to to do so. There are surely times when even the most dedicated among you will reach a point of futility, all because of their attitudes at the time. Such are the times as well when you just have to let people be, especially when they are not in very good frame of mind. Some of you do try your best to do and/or to be all that you can for those who are troubled, even though it does not always seem to work. But as the old saying goes, you can lead horse to water but you cannot make him drink. Learn therefore to try not to force people into being sensible about things when there is no chance that they are willing to listen. Blessed are you who do at least make the effort to help others when you can, in JESUS' Most Precious and Holy Name.
