"About This Time of Year"
One of the saddest things about this time of the year is when people celebrate it just because of the holiday festivities involved rather than because of Who the season represents. When children are more interested in Santa Claus than they are in The Lord JESUS CHRIST, the adults are doing a disservice to the children. As anyone who has read The Bible should know, The Lord JESUS loved the little children, so what would be the harm in learning about His importance to them in their lives, more so than Santa Claus. Oh yes, Santa just might be a jolly old soul, but Santa Claus has not and never will be able to "save" anyone's soul. People always think that Santa Claus is more important to children during this time of year, but only because the adults in their lives have deemed it to be so. Just like the children learn about Santa Claus, they could just as easily learn about The Lord JESUS CHRIST too if given the chance.
Therefore children of Mine in CHRIST, learn to teach the children that the true importance of this time of year is not in the gifts, but it is in the birth of The One Who was born and Who came to save them from sin. Oh, they can learn about someone who does not exist but cannot learn about The One Who truly does indeed exist? Have you ever thought about how much joy satan gets out of this time of year with the focus being mainly set on gifts and Santa Claus? It does JESUS' and My heart good to see the little ones who are learning the true meaning of this time of year. As many of you already know, there are those who celebrate this time of year without even believing in JESUS or His birth, but yet become highly defensive if you happen to disrespect Santa Claus. Learn to get your priorities straight if you are indeed a child of Mine, and blessed you will be for so doing, in JESUS' Most Precious and Holy Name.
