"When You Have A Giving Heart"
There are some people in this world who have the warmest, sweetest, loving, most giving, and most sincere hearts that one will ever know, but they tend to think more with their hearts than with their brains. That is not to say that they are brain-dead or anything like that, it is just a matter of them not thinking about the consequences of what they are thinking of wanting to do. Many of these types of individuals would rather do what they want to do rather than think about the consequences beyond that. Oftentimes in fact, what they think is a good idea might just be, but not so much as far as someone else is concerned. There are those times when reason will come into conflict with what the heart wants, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but again, not everyone will see things the same as they do because their hearts are not like the other person's, so there must be an adjustment or compromise somewhere along the way.
I just want to say to those of you whose hearts are such as the ones I mentioned above, do not change, because the problem is not with you, and your heart is more precious than gold. The thing you need to learn to do is to pay closer attention to certain people who might have more control in a certain situation than you do or in someone else's life. There will be those whom you would like to do something special or specific for, but it just might come into conflict with that person or persons who have more control and that is fine. Such just might be the times when you have to learn to adjust your desires, unless, of course, it is a matter of life or death. You who possess such a warm, sweet, giving, loving, and sincere heart will often see what you might want to do for someone else shot down, simply because some other person's heart is not like yours, but remember, it does not make them a bad person, they just happen to see things differently than you do. So go ahead and be the warm, sweet, giving, loving, and sincere person you are, and it will all pay off in the long run, in JESUS' Most Precious and Holy Name.
