"The Forgiveness of Sins"
Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening, to you, My children. There is something that I would like to clear up, if I can, about sin and forgiveness for some of you. Some of you have wondered about having to ask forgiveness for your sins every day if the blood of JESUS is supposed to have your sins covered. As I was trying to say in yesterday's message, there are many ways in which one can sin, and in fact, many of you have sinned and are sinning right now, and you have no idea of what you have done or why. There are also times when your brother or sister will sin against you, and as the Lord JESUS said in Luke 17:3-4, (3) Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, (4) and if he sins against you seven times in a day, and turns to you seven times, saying, I repent, you must forgive him. Also, remember what JESUS said to Peter in Matthew 18:22: And JESUS said to Peter about forgiving another's sin, he should forgive him not seven times, but rather seventy times seven times.
So now, if any of you need to ask forgiveness for some sin that you have committed over and over again, should I not forgive you as well? Why would We ask any of you to do what We Ourselves would not be willing to do? If any of you ever notice, even in the Old Testament, I would forgive Israel time and time again every time they would come to their senses and begin to follow Me once again. Yes, even though I realize that you all are born sinners, My grace and the blood of JESUS CHRIST is more than sufficient for you all. Also, let Me say that the blood of JESUS CHRIST does cover all sins, past and present. The exception, of course, is those who are not serious about giving up their sins, and only We know who that is. Some people are just weak as far as sin is concerned and need Our help, and We are here to do just that for those who ask. So go on and ask for forgiveness daily if you want, but know too that the blood of JESUS does have you covered, once and for all, in His Holy and Most Precious Name.
AMEN
