"The Day Before Resurrection Sunday"
The day before the resurrection was a somewhat special day of its own. It was a day that gave satan a little joy, simply because he thought that he might have finally won against The Lord JESUS CHRIST. Not being omniscient nor omnipotent, of course, he did not truly know the whole picture. Oh yes, satan thought that since The Lord JESUS had descended, he, satan, was finally king, not realizing that there was another plan in motion. Since JESUS CHRIST looked dead to the outside world, satan also believed that He was dead. But lo and behold, He was not. JESUS had only descended to the depths of hell to remove the keys, so to speak, to hell and the grave, and to set the captives free, which He certainly did, and as most of you who know The Word know, satan's joy was short-lived. JESUS CHRIST spent this day bringing joy to all who had wanted to see this day coming, as they believed that one day it would.
Oh yes, spoiler alert of the story is that JESUS CHRIST would rise again early tomorrow morning, just stealing all of the joy from satan and his minions. One of the great things about it all is the fact that those who were in waiting, so to speak, were also set free, with JESUS CHRIST declaring that He had defeated death and the grave. Oh, there were many who had looked forward to seeing The Son of GOD, and they finally got a chance to see Him. There was so much joy below to see yesterday and today, that all Heaven rejoiced to see what was taking place. Now, of course, everyone was looking forward to tomorrow, realizing that JESUS CHRIST would not, or could not be held back from what He was crucified to do. He had previously predicted that He would rise again after three days, but very few who heard Him really did not understand what He had meant. Now, blessed are you who realized the power with JESUS CHRIST has been raised, in and through His Holy and Most Precious Name.
