"Make No Idols"
Most people are under the impression that an idol has to be man-made, when that is not necessarily the case. As I said a few messages ago, anyone or anything that a person places above JESUS CHRIST, The Holy Spirit, and Me, can be seen to be an idol in the person's life. How can this be, some of you might ask? Well, just think about your favorite movie star or sports star, or any other star for that matter, would you rather see and hear The Lord JESUS CHRIST or one of those so-called stars of yours? Believe it or not, some people will actually choose one of their stars over JESUS CHRIST, and that is what makes the person or thing an idol. It might not particularly be the person's or the thing's fault that has been made an idol, but rather the person who has chosen them as one. Every so-called idol will one day pass away, whereas JESUS CHRIST, The Holy Spirit, and I will never pass away, and you can count on that, any time and any day of the week.
So listen, My children, remember to always keep Us at the top of your list. I know each and every one of your names and can count the number of hairs on your heads, whereas your so-called idols may have no idea who any of you are. It is fine on your part to admire or even respect certain people, but you should never make them into an idol. Nothing and no one should ever hold such a high and lofty position in your life, except for JESUS CHRIST, The Holy Spirit, and Me. Have you not heard that I am a jealous GOD, and there should be no other gods before Me. I will also not share the spotlight with anyone or anything else. There is nothing or no one who can or will do for you what We can, and you should never forget that. Now may good things be to you who keep Us first in your life, in JESUS' Most Precious and Holy Name.
