"You Can't Take It With You"
It would surely be nice if everyone would realize that this present life on Earth is really not their permanent home. People tend to spend so much time trying to make or eke out a living, clawing and scratching for every penny they can earn, only to find out in the end that it was all for nothing. Oh sure, it might have been done to benefit or leave it for someone else, because it is for sure that none of you will be able to take anything with you when you leave. As a matter of fact, you cannot even keep the clothes you were buried in, so why even bother being buried in your Sunday best? The secret to a better life beyond this present one is storing up your treasure in Heaven. As Matthew 6:19-20 says, (19) “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, (20) but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal".
Therefore, My children, go ahead and love and enjoy the life that you are living right now, because there will come a day when I will have to call your number, so to speak. The good and the bad of that is that you do not know when that will be, of course. Some of you might have years, while some of you might not make it to the end of the day. The only people who should really fear death are those who have had no relationship to or with The Lord JESUS CHRIST, for in Him is found eternal life. He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, and no one comes to Me except through Him. There are many who never seem to have time for The Lord JESUS while they are busy making money or having fun, thinking there will be time for Him later, but that is not always the way things work out. Store up your treasure in Heaven, therefore, realizing that you cannot take anything from here with you, and blessed you will be for so doing, in JESUS' Most Precious and Holy Name.
