"Clarification of Love Your Enemy"
There are those who get confused when it comes to a message like I gave yesterday when I reiterated what The Lord JESUS said about loving your enemy and praying for those who persecute you. I did not mean that you had to constantly be in someone's face that you knew hated you, or even that you are not allowed to be angry at times with those who might only want to persecute you. I am not even saying that you have to invite such people into your home in order to entertain and have a meal with them, even though there are those among you who have done that very thing. Some of you have managed to forgive some people of some of the most horrible crimes committed against you or a loved one, which is a very difficult thing to do, and I know because I had to forgive those who crucified JESUS CHRIST, My Only Begotten Son when He asked Me to do so.
So now listen, My children, in simple terms, when The Lord JESUS said that you should love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, He was merely saying that you should not do evil for evil, and not hate them because they have hated you. A lot of people are mean, wicked, and evil, and they are capable of some of the most heinous crimes imaginable, but as a child of The Living GOD in CHRIST, you should not be as they are. Loving your enemy therefore means that you can be better than them, and also, you are able to pray for those who might wish to do you harm. As I said before, it is not easy at all to be a true Christian, which means to be a learner and a follower of CHRIST, especially in such an evil world as this. Know that you are indeed greater than any evil you might have to face, because you have The Lord JESUS, The Holy Spirit, and Me with you at all times. Blessed are you who remember that fact, in and through JESUS CHRIST your Lord and Savior.
