"Tread Carefully"
There are mistakes being made on a daily basis simply because things are not always what they appear to be. Some people have even been seriously injured and/or killed, all because of something like mistaken identity, or because someone might have thought someone else was making a threatening move. There are those who might try to do one thing and someone mistakenly feels that they were trying to do something else. Before you know it, a lot of confusion and turmoil is the end result for really no reason at all. There are also those who just love to jump to conclusions before they even know the whole story, and when they have been proven to be wrong, they seek to place the blame elsewhere. Making a mistake in itself is not so bad, but trying to cover it up or ignore the mistake is when the problem begins. Wise and courageous is the person who makes a mistake and then owns it, realizing that things really are not always what they seem.
Now the moral of this message My children is, to learn to be careful and be sure about something before acting on whatever it is. It sometimes pays to approach things slowly and with caution instead of charging full steam headlong ahead into it. Know too that as the old saying goes, Rome was not built in a day, and not everything in life needs to be completed right away. Learning to take one's time is a good thing sometimes, especially when you might not know or have the whole story about something. As I said in the beginning, mistakes are made daily because things might not always be as they seem. Innocent people have been found guilty of certain crimes they did not commit just because someone was too lazy to fully investigate everything that they should have. If you ever find yourself in charge of trying or needing to investigate a particular matter, go slowly and be careful as you try to keep mistakes to a minimum, in and through JESUS CHRIST your Lord and Savior.
