"Being Like JESUS"
Those who wish to be good leaders should first learn how to be good followers. Those who also want to be first must learn to be last because the first will be last and the last will be first. There are those who have been servants and yet have turned out to be some of the best leaders, simply because they were such great servants. Not everyone learns to be a good leader, simply because they did not learn how to be good servants. When you think about how The Lord JESUS CHRIST washed His Disciple's feet without complaining, you get an idea of what a great leader is like. As a matter of fact, He washed their feet without any prompting. Some leaders such as The Lord JESUS would have thought themselves to be too good to stoop to washing feet, but not the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. He was able to demonstrate just how lovely it was to not think of Himself as being so much better than everyone else, even though no one could hold a candle to Him.
Blessed is everyone who has learned to not think so highly of themselves. As some of you are aware, there are those who think themselves to be so important in this life, and much too important to be on the level with a servant. Such people would have never thought about doing what The Lord JESUS did, and that is one of the reasons why JESUS CHRIST is and was One of a kind. Oh yes, there are so many walking around thinking that they are just so important to the world, not realizing that the world could function quite well without them. It is so sad to think of people as being too good or thinking so highly of themselves, and that is such a shame. Blessed are those who are able to humble themselves without Me having to do so. Now may good things be to you who seek to be like JESUS CHRIST, in His Holy and Most Precious Name.
