"Biblical Times vs. Today's Time"
There are many things that cannot be understood by some of you at this time about the early days of The Bible when compared to today. There are questions about people being able to intermarry as far as relatives are concerned, about men being able to have more than one wife at a time, or even about people lying and deceiving one another. Oh yes, that which was commonplace in the early days of mankind really has no reason to be in these days because of different circumstances. These days there are more people from whom men and women are able to choose, other than from within their own families. Such marrying today is frowned upon because of the harm that could result from reproducing if the bloodlines are so closely related. Because the population was less back then and because the protection of bloodlines was more important such things were allowed, but such practices have now been discontinued in present times. Such is also the case with men being able to legally marry more than one woman in society, with only a few exceptions of that taking place in society today.
Therefore, My children, try not to worry too much about what was allowed in the early Biblical days of mankind as compared to today. Also, do not be too concerned about the lies and/or deceptions that occurred in those days, because there was a higher purpose to and for it all that I understand. Much of what was allowed was done in order to demonstrate to people that you do not have to be perfect in order to receive salvation because JESUS CHRIST was perfect enough for everyone's imperfections. Most of you tend to find it difficult to understand how there could be so much lying and deception happening in the early Biblical times and how I could just let it pass by. Know this, there were consequences to these lies and deceptions, and some were recorded while some others were not, but I have never been fooled nor deceived. But now listen, that was then and this is now, and certain laws have changed with the times, and today is where peoples' concerns should lie and not with the past. Mankind can sometimes be too curious for their own good, and they need to learn a little more self-control and blessed they will be for so doing, in JESUS' Most Prefect and Holy Name.
AMEN
