"Yield Not to Temptation"
No one has ever said that living a righteous and holy life would be easy, especially when satan has devised so many different types of temptations to bring mankind to their knees. It all began with satan tempting Eve in the Garden of Eden, and it has progressed from there. And as you who have read The Bible will know, he even went as far as to try and tempt The Lord JESUS CHRIST. He failed of course when it came to tempting JESUS, because even though JESUS came here as a man, He knew how to handle satan and his temptations, as could any of you who are Mine in CHRIST. The same Spirit Who was in CHRIST JESUS lives in each of you who are Mine as well, which means that you could also resist satan with My Word as JESUS did if you would only learn how to use It. There are far too many of you who tend to just submit to satan as did Eve, so always remain mindful of this fact.
Now listen My children, I realize that resisting temptation is not necessarily an easy thing, but believe Me, it is entirely possible to do. One thing you must do as a child of Mine in CHRIST is, learn to stop thinking like the world does when it comes to spiritual things. Usually, when the world sees nothing wrong with something, it would be wise to stop and take another look. Satan depends on the child of Mine being as ignorant and as weak as the world, but if you learn to resist him, he has to surely flee. There is always someone somewhere who cannot or will not resist him, just as Eve did not do. The problem with a lot of My children stems from the fact that they just never seem to notice when they are being tempted by satan. Know this one fact, I nor The Lord JESUS will ever tempt you to go against anything that is in My Written Word. Righteousness and holiness are Our mantra and not evilness and self-gratification at any cost. Learn to resist the devil, therefore, and blessed you will forever be for so doing, in and through JESUS CHRIST your Lord and Savior.
