"A Word Concerning Sex"
There is something that has not changed very much at all as far as mankind is concerned, and that is their proclivity to seek and desire sexual pleasure. This is true, even while in the process of seeking that sexual fulfillment, the sexual acts in which they find themselves involved, go beyond what is considered to be normal. As a matter of fact, what might be considered to be normal by most standards, is very often pushed aside by acts that are considered to be abnormal and/or unholy or perverted. There is something else that has not changed since the beginning of sin, and that is the desire to be with someone or something that one should not, and many lives have been ruined because of it. There are in fact those males and females who have behaved as if they have no self-control over their bodies when it comes to sex, and this is something that I see on a daily basis. Now of course not having self-control is not true, or else they really would be like animals who do it no matter who is around or where they happen to be.
Therefore My children, one of the fruits of the Spirit is indeed self-control, and from what I have seen, only a significantly scant amount of people tend to have this fruit, especially where sexual desire is concerned. The truly sad thing about this lack of self-control as far as sex is concerned, are all of the unnatural, perverted, and wickedly evil acts people have managed to introduce into their sexual lives. When one takes a look at some of the sexual acts in which people become engaged, one would have to conclude that such acts did not originate from a righteous and holy heart. And when I used the terms male and female above, it was simply because this sexual desire is often found in the young of society, and there is often perversion at work in this as well. Now do not get Me wrong, there is nothing wrong with having sexual wants and desires and it can be a very beautiful and exciting experience, just as long as it is not a perversion of what is natural. But of course, mankind can always find a way to pervert something, including sex. Now may you be a person with self-control as you are able to enjoy your sex life, in JESUS' Most Precious and Holy Name.
